We Are a Nation of Families shares Art Cunningham’s memories of growing up grounded in family, culture, and pride in who he was. Through teachings from his Cree and Danish family relationships and his experiences in southern Alberta, Art reflects on learning across different ways of seeing the world, relationships with Blackfoot people, respect for ancestors, and the Métis responsibility to help strengthen understanding between people.
